| Great Finds in Live Auction & Unique Raffle |

|
The Festival will again offer both a live auction and a raffle for those who enjoy "the chase" that these affairs offer. Featuring simple, unique, practical, and/or spectacular items donated by individuals and businesses around Rabun County and the southeast region, all proceeds from these events contribute to Foxfire's student programs. Fine art, professional cookware, admission to regional attractions, knick-knacks, hand-made pottery, autographed books, toys, gift certificates for local dining...the list of generously-donated items is long and varied every year, so visit both auction and raffle areas inside the Civic Center and see what's on offer this year.
For those who haven't been to this Festival before—Foxfire's raffle operates a little differently than most events of this type. In most raffles, participants buy tickets, all tickets go into a mass container, an item is brought to the front, a ticket is drawn, and someone wins something. In Foxfire's raffle, each item in the raffle has its own ticket container—participants fill out tickets with name and phone number and then drop the tickets into the containers for only the items they actually hope to win. It takes a little more work to set things up this way, but no one ends up with random items that they have no interest in, and most folks appreciate this difference.
