Music is as much a part of Southern Appalachia as the mountain springs and streams that sustain life here—whether the hidden trickle of a lone banjo seeping out of a forgotten hollow, or the mighty sound of a dozen instruments cascading through the valley bottoms late into the night. Both Gospel and Bluegrass have deep roots in these mountains, and you're guaranteed to hear some of the best of both that the area has to offer at the Festival. There will be an amazing array of talent on display throughout the day, representing several generations of the traditional Bluegrass and Gospel styles that this region is well known for.
DANCING IS ALLOWED AND ENCOURAGED!
